2007-08 was an important year for many reasons.Our customer Outreach has reached
nearly 3 Lakhs. Our Micro Finance Programme had a positive impact on the livelihood
of the poor and the very poor. We have strengthened our Internal Control system

BFL caters the needs of SHGs for their economic activities as well as to get out
of the clutch of money lenders in the society. Individual Loans are granted to the
socially and economically elevated SHGs and their families.

Institutional loans include finance for educational institution and also on lending to SHGs.
Total number of beneficiaries were 287423 in the year 2006-07.This increased to 490508 in the year 2007-08.The % of loan outstanding stood increased to 18.09% in
the financial year 2007-08.
